1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Uggov Agent platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Afrosoft IT Solutions on behalf of the Republic of Uganda.
2. Description of Service
Uggov Agent is an AI-powered digital guidance platform that provides information about Ugandan public sectors, government services, laws, and official guidelines. The Service queries government databases and regulatory information to assist citizens with public service inquiries. It does not provide legal advice or replace official government procedures.
3. User Obligations
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree not to misuse the Service for unlawful purposes or to submit harmful content.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
4. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Afrosoft IT Solutions and the Republic of Uganda shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service. Information provided by the Uggov Agent may contain errors or omissions and should be verified with official sources.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and data available through the Service are the property of the Republic of Uganda or Afrosoft IT Solutions unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written consent.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the operation of the Service.
7. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the platform or email.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
